If your disagreement about the story is about how the Multi-Quirk has effected the story positively then I'ma need you to elaborate. OfA lore & Deku's choreography are easily better than before. Horikoshi even managed to extend the power ceiling nicely despite the concept seeming overpowered. even his dumbass hoodie looks pretty cool now. idk how you find the reason behind the multi-quirks laughable. the Vestiges are the weird part to me. Deku doesn't have to be friends with Bakugo to be a Rival. I wouldn't say MHA is basic. it can be simple at times but there is definitely depth to some of its story. Especially since MVA. You're perspective of his world building is... unique. World building isn't really the biggest thing in MHA but what's there is enough for me. I feel like I'm defending MHA at this point and that's not my goal. I'm mostly just tryna understand y'a'll, just to be clear.

The art is good but I have to disagree with you on the story. I was going to make points but it was too long so I deleted it. Basically, I believe the reason behind OFA's multi-quirk is laughable. Deku is getting a silver platter. The story is basic, fans should want more. Hirokoshi does expand the world, it just seems like it does without actually doing it. The story portrayed Bakugo as the rival, without a rival the rival the story is brought down. Again these are basically the bullet points. I did go into more detail, but again.... Too long. 😭 Now I have this half-ass comment that looks like no thought was put into it oh well.

The development I'm talking about is One For All's Multi-Quirk stuff. the fights are far more interesting and the story surrounding it is pretty cool. The current fight in the manga is a good example of why this development is a good thing. MHA makes the idea of life being unfair pretty apparent in it's story so I think Deku exceeding Bakugo wouldn't be bad writing. "Fuck Bakugo" was just because I don't like him. it's not like Deku has been nice to him because he's changed. I'm not saying Deku should hold a grudge but to treat Bakugo as if he's never done anything bad to him is so weird. I just don't find their relationship believable. The anime is definitely better than the manga but Horikoshi's art is way too good to ignore.

Development? You read the manga right? What development are we talking about? Also you talk about development, but completely ignore Bakugo's character development through the story. But I would like for you to explain why is Deku being out of Bakugo's league is a good thing. They are rivals according to the story. So if one exceeds their rival so early on then WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING THE RIVALRY IN THE FIRST PLACE. And I'm mostly discussing from a story and manga perspective, because I really do think the anime is better than the manga.

So at this point in time I have little problem with Deku having multiple quirks(and I dislike Deku as well). Stuff like this has worked before if executed well. For example, early Ben 10. Multiple powers but there are risks put in place of using them. If you think that K.O.L here "hating", then don't show up when he reaches the end of the war arc. We are going to see a return of Rant K.O.L, because that was some SHIT ✍.

MHA says early on that not everyone is born equal and that's actually a big deal even later on so I don't think Deku being out of Bakugo's league is a bad thing. besides, Bakugo is literally his childhood BULLY, fuck Bakugo and Deku's "stockholm sydrome" towards him. Deku was given OfA on a whim to begin with so it's not like him getting even more quirks changes anything thematically. he still has to make them his own just like Todoroki did. Anyways, this opens up MHA's story for a lot and easily results in the most interesting and exciting stuff its ever done. this development is a GOOD thing.

I think it’s justified to not expect this to happen seeing as the only other two OfA users we’ve seen this far have never been said to have any other abilties besides super power. Acting as though we should’ve seen this coming is ridiculous given that up until this point “cultivating over time” has only been implied to mean it gets stronger over time.

It's a shame. Some behave like Izuku will have no challenge from now on, lol. Even without 6 new abilities, we knew he would be the strongest. People seem to forget that it has taken 5 seasons just to learn how use 20%.

Even though it has been foreshadowed since ep 2 with it being described as a quirk that cultivates over time. Then we get shown in the sports festival vestiges, then we get more depth now. Kol really be hating on a well foreshadowed twist just because he has bias against deku. Hope kol understands this is not some bs, it has been properly foreshadowed.
