the monsters in the trap got scaled to kiritos level, thats why they all got 1 shot and dealt no damage. Kirito was hiding his level because we was scared they wouldnt want him if he was to high thats why he didnt tell them his real level and thats why he feels responsable for their deaths

yea youre right, the game started nov 2022 so the santa boss fight was 13 months later in the first 5 episodes they do some time skips to increase the floors
