This woman had a glow to her skin, radiant as a fresh coating of snow, not a single trace of aging on her face. The eyes she had were exotic, like the universe was staring down at me, with lashes extending to her brows. Her lips full and painted with an original red, not an ounce of makeup on this porcelain doll. An unknown force rushes over my body – restraining me in my current position as I continue to watch her silky brunette hair waving with the wind as she slowly walks my way. I wake up from this mesmerizing effect only to see my friend interrupt my sight of vision, the woman had vanished. It was too late, that very same day; I woke up in the middle of the night only to realize my body is held down to the bed but my senses free to wonder. There she was, kneeling above me with a smile. Complete silence… “I……Love……You”
Those words slipped out of my mouth without my awareness, as if her presence had something to do with it. Her beautiful face started to distort into something unnatural, that smile turned into a malicious snarl, that ageless skin start to show groves similar to a feline cat. Her eyes consumed by her pupil, a total darkness shadowing over us. Her lips part, as to speak, however my ears began to ring….. I wake up only to see myself in bed cold, pale, lifeless, and alone.
The woman, like a fox in sheep’s clothing, made her appearance once more with my family and friends, at my funeral, as I observe them behind the tombs. Everyone mourning with their attention directed towards my grave, hers – piercing through my soul.
