General Update #32

I guess the image has spoiled it already, but there is some fun stuff coming with Silent Echo's next update!
Overall Progress
As mentioned in the previous post, we're currently busy building Chapter 3's first update alongside version 0.2.4. Everything is going well thus far and we'll start sharing news with you in regards to Chapter 3 once version 0.2.4 is in your hands.
We're closer than ever to being feature complete and one of the last elements on our internal roadmap was to provide you with more customization options and more control over them.
Hairstyles is probably the most impactful customization we have to date, and a few of you have asked us for things like being able to revert to the original hairstyle or to add new ones.
Initially we were planning to add a sort of experimental hair salon device in Chapter 3 that would work like Starwatch's salon. With our work on version 0.2.4 we've found a better way to implement it, as the previous plan would have made this solely accessible in Chapter 3 and inaccessible in future chapters or even post endgame.
With that in mind, we will instead make it available in a special new location right away in the next update, fully featured with 5 new hairstyles to choose from.
New content for 0.2.4
Aside from the new hair salon feature, we are adding more content to Chapter 2!
New small talk scenes will be available with the cast, with an average of 2 new discussions for each squad member. Sylvia and Victoria in particular didn't have much yet, and we're happy to give them some additional interactions.
An entirely new character will make its debut as well, which you will first encounter in the Robotics Lab of Chapter 2, leading a chain of very... peculiar events.
We will intentionally not spoil this new character as I believe keeping it as a surprise will be a lot more for fun you.
In addition to all this, a new patron exclusive armor will be redeemable from Gwen. The "Void Operative" armor, which you can see as the last armor on right in the presentation image is one of the two armors that won the armor vote which ended in a tie with the Cyberpunk outfit. We did promise we'd commit to the results and release both of them, and with this update this promise will have been fulfilled.
Starwatch Academy
A quick note to give you a status update on Starwatch. We have completed the upgrade of the game and fixed all of the bugs that came alongside it.
Fast combat, accessibility options, damage types, performance updates and all other improvements made for Silent Echo are now in the game.
Captain+ patrons now have access to the updated beta of Starwatch 0.4.0 (#beta-versions channel on discord) and with this out of the way, we're looking at updating the talent system, adding fps views for weapons like it was done for Silent Echo, and resuming the integration of story content.

Honestly I got intrigued by the mention of the new character in Robotics, can't wait for the new addition of Agents hare... I mean squad.
