Serious News, Please Read
🕑 Added 2017-03-12 15:54:32 +0000 UTC Greetings to all.I don’t know how to begin explaining this, because it’s kind of long, and my English is not that perfect, but I’ll do my best to tell you the current situation I’m in. This matter is kind of lengthy, but it’s extremely important that you read it, so please bear with me.
Yesterday (Saturday 11th) I was playing basketball with my friends like I do on every weekend. As it is sometimes common, accidents happen, and this time it happened to me. I grabbed a pass wrongly, and my whole hand bent backwards in a painful way. After that I couldn’t play anymore because of the strain on my hand, so I decided to go to a clinic to check myself. I told the doctor what happened, he checked my hand, and he noticed that the pain I felt from my fingers was “manifestating” differently from the pain in my wrist. I’ll try my best to explain this, but my fingers hurt only he bent them, but my wrist was in constant pain no matter the pose. The doctor run a test to discard any other conditions, and proceded to ask me what I did for a living. I told him, that aside from my day job, I’m also a freelance artist (I didn’t mention the content thouhg XD), and he asked me how often, and I answered that about 5 days a week, 4-5 hours a day. After that, he explained to me the whole situation: effectively, I had sprained two fingers from playing basketball, but the problem on my wrist was definitely tendinitis, which now got slightly aggravated by my accident.
Afterwards, he told me I should definitely rest, he put this metal thingie in my fingers to make them not move, and gave me some medicines to make the pain less, especially for my wrist, and told me to come back in 3 or 4 days to check the progress. Now, I’m here home, writing with my left hand (very uncomfortable and sloooow), thinking about what to do next, because as I’ve read around the Internet, these conditions can get better, but only if I take care of them properly. With that being said, I’m sorry to say this, but I’ll have to take the next week off. Hopefully, I should at least have my fingers properly rested by then, so I can get back to working on the comics, but more carefully from now on. Needless to say, I’ll probably have to go through a small therapy work for my tendinitis, but as I’m reading, is not that much of a deadly thing or anything, I just have to take good care of myself, and this week off will help me a lot.
So guys, for the first time since I started the Patreon 2 years ago, I will not be able to send you any updates, only for a week. I know I’ve taken vacations and such, but I always delivered eventually, but this time, I can’t use my hand at all, so, I can’t draw.
I hope you guys can understand, I know it’s my fault for playing rough and also not taking care of my wrist, which I should definitely do if I want to keep drawing comics for a living. This is something that I was able to accomplish thanks to you guys supporting me, and this dream of being an artist and drawing comics for a living is the best thing that’s happened to me, and I don’t ever want it to end. For this, I must take care of this issue, and after that, be more careful and learn things to improve my wrist health, like hand exercises and such.
Once again, I’m terribly sorry about this, I’ll try to think of a way to make it up to you guys. I’ll still be online if you want to get in contact with me, but I might be slow to reply, and try to avoid writing for too long since I should definitely rest my hand.

Hey man, physical health troubles are far more important then trying to get art done. At least to me that is. You come first (cum?), so that means you have to take care of yourself first, before taking care of others. Just rest and recover man, it's more important. I hope you get better, it's obvious you are a hard worker, and I personally appreciate that. Feel better, okay? ^_^

Take care of yourself and rest up that wrist. Plenty of us know that you're good about producing; you have to take care of your health and being able to continue on into the future. Take all the time you need to make sure you're well. We'll still be here.

You've been exactingly punctual and fair about delivering comics from the very inception of your patreon, to the point I'm surprised you hadn't yet developped carpal tunnel syndrome. Dude, your wrist and hand health is far more important than getting comics done on time! Take a break, rest, relax, let yourself heal and don't rush yourself. We'll still be here whenever you think you're recovered enough and not in pain.
