11:49 Completely unrelated to the episode, but I remember watching a video (or reading) explaining that when you have something at the tip of your tongue like this, it's actually better for you to figure it out yourself rather than having something external remind you. I don't remember the details of why, so take it with a moderate grain of salt, but since then I've tried (when I remember about it) to stop looking up or asking for answers, and just trying to remember by myself or let it go until it comes to me.

At the end, Owelia said "Master will be so pleased that I found you..." You're ABSOLUTELY going to need the version with subtitles for the next episode, "Little Spark." About a third of it is entirely in Zemnian. BTW, you are NOT ready for that episode. Also, I believe it's implied that the devil toad opened that rift to try and get home.

The rift is to the (if Kylie has the same origins as in the Campaign) Abyss - since he is a Fiend of some kind... Or the Hells (if he is a Demon). I usually get it mixed up.

First thing's first: You NEED to get subtitles for the Zemnian/German language in this show. Next episode especially is IMPOSSIBLE to watch without them, but they're a big part of nearly every episode. So Nott is absolutely going through substance abuse issues. It's not some fantasy equivalent, which I am feeling the need to clarify, just cause it feels personally uncomfortable to see the issues she's dealing with reacted to with "What's the magical reason?" Nothing meant by it, just something I wanted to clarify. So the rift isn't necessarily related to the Beacon. In Vox Machina, we saw a rift to the fire plane and a rift to the Hells of Despath. This is a rift to somewhere else entirely. Where, I actually have no clue.

Nott’s story is absolutely incredible. It’s sad heartwarming but when you get to know her, you’ll realize that she’s the mother of the group. She’ll even bring that up in the next episode. You probably won’t learn her backstory for a very long time. If you didn’t understand what the girl said at the very end, then you’re gonna have a hard time next episode because most of the episode is in that language. You’re gonna need subtitles.

The thing with Essek is he cannot reverse course now. Trent isn't just a crazy wizard. Hes a political figure for the enemy state. Any attempt to take the beacon back will require an act of war. And I dont mean that in a moral way. I mean that will be so protected and in the middle of the empire that even if he tells his friend where it is, it will require invading to get it back. He fucked up.
