I don't understand how Morgan is finding hard to understand. People are stupid and assholes like Vox use that to get their followers to buy what ever crap they spew. They are American so you should be unfortunately use to stupid people buying whatever bullshit that a lying cult leader feeds them.

I'm pretty sure Vox panicking when the angels showed up in "Silenced" was itself just an act to help spin the narrative in his favor. Also, the thing that destroyed the tower was the pearly gates themselves falling down to Hell. Velvette mentioned how Vox "Blasted the gates of their bleeding hinges."
