The Hungry Earth - My guess is these are the episodes that broke the camel's back when it came to no longer reacting to Doctor Who. - The Silurians are an antagonist from the old Who series. - It's not all bad. Re-introducing the Silurians here allowed for a wonderful recurring character to be introduced later. Cold Blood - Recent science suggests the moon did hit the Earth and glanced off it before settling into orbit. - Yes I too find these stories where peace could be achieved if it weren't for boneheaded people doing the worst thing every time immensely frustrating. - "Squeaky bum time" - you don't have this expression? Where sweat and nervous shifting causes squeaking sounds against the fabric of a chair. I could see how it could be misinterpreted.

Ambrose is just as bad as Restac in my opinion. When 2 Volatile personalities clash. Ambrose was trying to protect her family and Restac her entire society. But both quick to jump to the extreme showing the little moral compass both have.

Yeah, the Silurians were in classic Doctor Who...buuuut, they looked a bit different, not being nearly as human-looking. Also, fun fact: every female Silurian with a speaking role in the whole show (new series at least) are played by the same actress.
