Time to pick your brains

So I'm trying to plan out the Patreon exclusive content for November and I was wondering if you guys would like 2 Episodes of Vox Machina a week so we can finish it up in the month of November. After that I've been thinking about doing Doctor Who as a Patreon Exclusive for Christmas time (the David Tennant ones obviously). What do you guys think?

Actually, a show I would LOVE to see you react to is a Chinese animated show called Heaven Official's Blessing. It is VERY fruity.

Oh yeah I was reffering to the Revival's first season as well. Just didn't knew that you meant to skip that season or not. (My brain is a big mush after school so I could barely get new information let alone understand it.đ)

Season one of the new series, yes. Not sure how to refer to it when the franchise is decades older than when it came back to TV. Either way I think the Ninth Doctor's season is worth watching.
LikeCat
Wait a moment, so you say you want her to watch Season 1 or not?
Sanmei
I think you can't go wrong starting from the Christopher Eccleston (who played the Ninth Doctor) season onward TBH.

I would love some Patreon exclusive anime reacts in the future like Cherry Magic or I'm in Love with the Villainess (both have solid dubs if you prefer dubs). They are both queer anime and short. However I think you should choose a show you personally want to watch and if it's Dr. Who then go for it :) I have never watched Dr. Who myself and I would watch it with you.

One way I recommend watching it is this: Watch Season 2 and maybe 3 and if think you like it (Not just for Tennant) then go back and watch Season 1 afterwards. It isn't essential to watch it in order, because each Doctor's story is to a certain degree ,,self-contained" to them. Yes there are references to other older stories, but just small nods here and there.

I'll go with the rest, I'd really recommend you watch Doctor Who from the beginning, but you do what you want of course ^^

I say do what makes you happy! Yes, I enjoyed Eccleston's run, and having seen that season would enhance your knowledge of the series. BUT this show does a solid job of catching you up on what you've missed. You're getting into Doctor Who for David Tennant, and that's just fine! Maybe you'll only like his series. Or maybe he'll make you love the show and you'll want to see more. Either way, I'm excited that you're considering reacting to Doctor Who, even if it is just Tennant's series. I'm sure this will bring an influx of Whovians. They're a large and devoted fandom, so I'm sure you'll appreciate the boost

I think you need to see the show from the beginning to understand some things but do whatever you want! Iâd love to see your reactions to the DT episodes :)

Unsure if I should say this but honestly it's annoying me. Let people enjoy fandoms the way they want to. Dr. Who is a massive show and a hard thing for a lot of people to get into. It's not really a wrong way to watch it beginning with a new doctor. Some things might be missed but ifbyou watch 9 you miss a few things too from the older series.

Fr, christopher eccleston deserves so much recognition, he literally helped bring back the show
Daniel Frazier
Why just David Tennant? If you havenât seen Who before you should really start at the first season with Chris Eccleston.
LikeCat
Espesially him. (Most Doctor is in the role for 3 years, but he only had that one season because of behind the scenes reasons)
NatMcK7
Oh my gosh you're really gonna watch Doctor Who?? That is awesome, but I really think you should watch the one season before that maybe on your own so you have context and stuff for some references in season 2
Sekiro
Or actually, an adult animated series called Scavengers Reign. It's only twelve episodes.
August_Angel_Official
If you're gonna watch doctor who atleast start from season 1 with christopher eccleston. Each actor deserves recognition for bringing their own uniqe spin to the doctor
Liam Gradwell
That sounds good to me Morgan. I would love you to go into David Tennantâs Doctor Who, but you should at least watch Chris Ecclestonâs Doctor in your spare time. đđ
Helmi
I agree, it's so worth it to watch it from the beginning!
Daniel Davies
While Iâd love for you to react to âDoctor Whoâ, please start it from the beginning with Series 1. I know that itâs tempting to just jump straight into Series 2, but I think you need to see the first series to understand a few things that come up as well. Plus, while Christopher Eccleston isnât one of my favourite Doctors, he does deserve some recognition and respect for bringing the show back.

I was hoping one day you would get around to reacting to dr who, the david tennant era is and always will be my favourite đ

I'm planning on reacting to it before Arcane comes back!

I'll like to see the chaos quicker in November. I got to say I love seeing your reactions tto vox machina because so many reactors expect a certain thing from it both for fantasy and for dnd stuff and think everything in the show is from a dice roll. Which some are but it isn't a scene for scene adaption either. Plus fun to see someone who has no idea idea what to expect from characters like scanlan.

I'd love to see you react to Doctor Who. I loved that series. I did prefer the David Tennant seasons. He is sooo good! Also, I know you rarely do movies, but would you please react to "The Wild Robot"đđœ? At least when it's available on digital. Idk when that is. But it's a fantastic movie
Phineas5381
Still, I think watching Ecclestonâs run first might be worth it for the context. I feel like jumping right into the Christmas Invasion would just be confusing.
Opal Evergreen
Dude that's AWESOME
ToastGrandChild
I love the idea but as a fellow Whovian of those specific seasons, I recommend watching the one season before the David Tennant doctor. It provides context for the cast outside of Davidâs doctor
ximechata
I love these ideas! I know you donât do movie reactions often but I was wondering if youâd consider Transformers One? Itâs on digital starting tomorrow and itâs a fantastic movie even if you know nothing about the franchise.
Morgan Reacts
Maybe at some point I will if enough people request a specific anime

Unfortunately I've already seen SU in it's entirety. I wish I could have reacted to it but I started watching it before I started reaction videos.
Morgan Reacts
I would go in order of release date with all the David Tennant ones
Kaye O'Malley
I would love to see you react to Doctor Who - but when you say the David Tennant ones, do you mean the 3 specials from last year, or all of his episodes and specials, or one or more of his Christmas ones??
Kat
I absolutely love this plan. Doctor Who is a fantastic choice. I can't wait to see your reaction. đ„°
Verdigree
I am not sure if you've seen Doctor Who, but it is designed so you can hop on whenever there's a new Doctor or a new companion, a bit of in media res jumping in with David Tennant is within the ways the creators anticipated it would be watched. The way I watched it for the first time was a marathon that played two episodes a day, leading up to David Tennant's first episode, The Christmas Invasion. I think you'd have fun jumping in at David Time, I certainly would enjoy seeing you try to guess what happened in Pre-David Time (I should also say, the people who aren't David who play the character are pretty good too)
LikeCat
It would be a Fantastic ride either way.
ShadowDust
Highly agree on that point! Super good idea honestly. Morgan please do this, even if you arenât feeling eccleston, itâs better than going in completely confused lol
LikeCat
Yes, please do 2 Vox reactuons. As a very avid Whovian (Doctor Who fan), think on the level of your Good Omens exictment. I highly recommend watching Season 1 of Doctor Who (David's are Season 2 to 4), it sets up the story to come and introduce the main premise of the show (being the revival's first season and all). And that season is just 13 episode with some important character/ iconic stories that you do not wanna miss.
Dinker
If you don't know Doctor WHO you can watch the first Eccleston one which would give you some context in general for Who if nothing else. Then if you don't want to finish it off you could jump to Tenant, which happily starts on a Christmas episode if nothing else.
TheLesbianTrout
I think the DW ones would be neat! I think you'll be semi confused most of the time so you'll either enjoy it for David tenant or turn into a whovian.
Phineas5381
Sounds great, but if you do watch Doctor Who, youâll want to start with the Christopher Eccleston episodes just for the sake of context. Donât worry. Itâs just one 13 episode season and itâs still a lot of fun. And when David does show up, it only gets better đđ»
Sekiro
I was wondering if you can do anime reactions here on patreon
TheLesbianTrout
Morgan has seen it unfortunately :( I believe out of the chaos trio Mosco is the only one who hasn't seen it.
Savannah Villa
That sounds amazing! I was also wondering (it's completely okay if not. I know you have other things) but if you haven't seen Steven Universe would you consider reacting to it?
