The beginning of this season is very stressful and has a different vibe than the whole of season 1 but I love the darker shift. Ivan was killed off screen due to the actor not coming back, he was the only one who didn't get called back which was a bad decision in my opinion. Zheng Yi Sao was indeed the Chinese pirate queen but she wasn't born until 1775.

Have to say, I really do like Ed's look in this season, with the short beard. He's a handsome fellow. Ep 1 is tough (as is Ep 2 tbh), but we'll get there! I actually think I prefer Season 2 to Season 1.
