Now we're getting to the meat of this show now that Blackbeard is here! Blackbeard aka Edward Teach/Thatch was probably the most notorious pirate and he did indeed save Stede Bonnet and his crew from a Spanish warship after arriving in Nassau (republic of pirates). The show does well with taking things that did happen and making it their own thing.

Izzy was being a little shit and never actually told Stede that his boss was Blackbeard. He was mad at Stede for «being unprofessional» when he disarmed him so he probably just wanted to cause havoc by telling blackbeard that Stede had specifically said that Blackbeard could go suck eggs in hell😂
