No jacket or tie, for sure.... probably a blue colored shirt and jeans. Slightly thicker and rougher fabric than a dress shirt, but same concept. Either that or blue overalls.

Thank you! I think I'll be working on designs for his uniform soon, and I kind of wish I drew his cap here, since jobs like that required more formal wear during the midcentury.
