Development Update - November 2024
🕑 Added 2024-11-13 21:53:13 +0000 UTCHey all. It’s time for a monthly development update. I’m a little earlier than usual as I’m sitting here bored waiting for a render to complete and I thought “why not”. We’re going public this time too in a thinly veiled attempt to try and drum up some support (hey free guys).
Just a little bit on the upcoming chapters first.
In terms of Chapter 6, I have written in all of the sound effects (what few there is) for Chapter 6 now and curated all the music for each scene of which most of it is new. All the extra bits of writing I needed to do are all completed too. The final thing to do is adding new special renders to the galleries.
Once this is done, I expect I’ll be able to send the chapter for testing and proofreading early December. For anyone who hasn’t been able to view the previous updates, Chapter 6 is roughly 750 renders and estimated around 45mins-1hr playtime at a reasonable reading speed.
Meanwhile, I’m also still hard at work on Chapter 7 and have only just finished the scene referenced in last month’s update which was my biggest render-filled scene yet. I’ve still got one more hefty scene and then a tag at the end still left to pose and render. Once done, I now expect the chapter will end on around 1200 renders.
I’m already at the point where this will be my biggest chapter yet in terms of render numbers, and I’ll have annihilated that record by the time I’m finished with it. The caveat is that a lot of this optional content so if you’ve turned down a particular girl or chose a particular girl for a certain scene earlier in the game (you know the one), you may not get the full playtime with this chapter.
Now I just hope I can render the whole thing before I grow old and die. I’m still only halfway through rendering the large scene and that’s often with my PC batch rendering 18 hours a day. This is the first time I’ve reached a point where it would be good for me to have a second PC to just leave perma-rendering while I pose on the other… but alas this is far out of my financing means currently.
Onto some stuff not related to the chapters.
Last night I gave my Itch site a bit of an overhaul as it wasn’t popping enough for my liking. I urge you all to go and check out what I’ve done with it as I’m kinda proud of it for my limited photoshop and design skills.

And now it becomes clear the reason for me making this update public, as I need all the help I can with this. I’m currently sitting at a 4-star rating there and I’m desperate to reach a 5-star.
I would appreciate any help you can give me to battle the stupid 1-star ratings I get because “Parker is NTR”, “Evelyn having sex in her head whether she likes it or not is NTR”, “Moonsong having relations in the past is NTR”, “clone sex is NTR”, “that guy chilling in the background of the coffee shop is in the same room as five Lis so must be NTR” and “MC had a mom, so she must also have been NTR’d”. So please drop a rating on the game if you have an Itch log in. I would appreciate it so much.
And on that note, a similar call to last month, unfortunately the member numbers dropped rather than climbed to the milestone I was almost about to achieve. Again, any help you can give to spread the word about Origin Story and get it out there more, is incredibly appreciated. When we reach 200 subs, I’ll be dropping a series of special renders to celebrate.
And on the subject of special render series, on December 1st we hit the first anniversary of the release of Chapter 1 and I have a little something special planned to celebrate. Starting from that day, I will be releasing a daily special render featuring 2-3 of the main girls of Origin Story… I’m not going to give away the theme for this series just yet as it’ll make sense on the day.
But that is not all… with every special render release, there will be a puzzle or a clue. Some easy, some hard (I hope... I'ma be mad if someone cracks what I think is hard straight away). If you do crack it, a new special render will be unlocked in the discord and I will subsequently unleash it on Patreon once it’s unlocked there. That’s a total of 14 possible special renders for anniversary week, and some of them are pretty damn great, if I do say so myself. You may even see parts of some girls you’ve never seen yet 😉.
Without giving too much away, you will need to be in the discord channel to take part, where Fraser will be your friend and keeper of the secrets. He may even bestow you a special role in the server for unlocking the prize. Naturally, you’ll need to be subbed to see the clues as the images they’ll come with are all very NSFW.
That is all for this month. Thanks you for all the support you have given me already!
Much love.

The Itch page looks great, I mean your girls are gorgeous and the design is 👍 unfortunately the world seems full of fools who live to complain and be a total nuisance. The game is simply a 5 ⭐
