Early May Progress Report [Succubus Pandemic]
🕑 Added 2024-05-03 18:34:12 +0000 UTCHi friends, I'm still on break from game developing, I think development for Succubus Pandemic will start on May 20th. That being said, our artists have been preparing to work on this new project, so I figured that I should share some of the progress that's been made.
First of all, the main female companion (name is customizable, but the default is Alice) now has what I call an "idle animation". Alice's appearance will gradually change throughout the game due to the Succubus Virus (bigger boobs, more monster girl features, etc.), but this is her beginning form.
Alice is no longer fully human, and she needs to be fed "essence" :^). Her succubus instincts will cause her to unconsciously tempt the main character Alex to feed her more "essence" than she needs. It is up to Alex to control himself (good luck with that).
Besides characters, we've also been preparing assets for the game, and one of the most important ones is the interior of Alex's house. So far we have his bedroom and living room, and the entrance is currently being worked on. Check them out in the attached images.
The mechanics for this game will include an inventory system and relationship system, the icons will be accessable on the top-right corner of the user interface. My idea for this game is to combine multiple genres and tie them together in visual novel format.
