Few days late, I apologize.
Renders are 3932 of 4057 completed. Render count seems to be holding at that 4057, give or take a bit. So that should be about where we're standing when all is said and done.
Everything else is fairly standard, getting everything coded in tested and what not. Bit harder to give more specific information on that obviously so it's not very exciting to share.
I was hoping to have this released next week, but I really don't think that will happen. Just lots I'm still trying to finish up, I absolutely bit off a bit more than I should have with this update, I should have spilt it in two. Lesson learned I guess. I appreciate y'all sticking with me.
Now I'm aware that some people often up their pledge or sign up for the higher tiers so that they can play the update ASAP. If you did that this month, and the update bleeds into August and you have to drop your pledge for whatever reason, I want you to go ahead and get in touch with me here. I'll make sure you still get the access that you would have, I want to do my best to make sure you're taken care of.

You don't need to increase your pledge before the actual release day, it takes only 30sec to do it

Like Blacklabyrinth said, it'll be done when it's done. I finally played your first game lately, thought it was a tad bit too 'old' at first, but your storytelling is engaging, character development too. But damn you upped your game big time with The Unbroken thus far, in every areas. Finally understood who Brent and Chris were (and whoever we chose at the end, since I played The Unbroken before playing The Author, had no idea who they were), and their importance to Valentine. And I damn hope we'll see them again at some point.

Good things take time. and lessons learned on this one. It's being worked on and there is a release date in sight, good enough.
