so you need RAM to make this combo run well? I have a Ryzen 7 3700x, 16 RAM (3000mhz) and An RTX 2080Ti And I never reach 40 fps :3

Dullahan Gaming

I can run 128x with 7700k, 32gb ram, 1070ti with seus renewed at 60-100fps. Seus renewed is pretty close to the ptgi, without some of the fancy extra stuff, but it runs twice as well. I'm also on fabric with sodium, indium, continuity and iris, which is basically upgraded optifine.

EpikWem

Or change the "pack_format" to 6 in the pack.mcmeta file ;)

EpikWem

It depends of the shader you use

32gb 3600mhz, 11900k 3070, is my minecraft installation bad or what cuz it cant handle running 64 at above 40 fps

Robby Dash

bruh yeah

WeeWeeSucc

thank you

EpikWem

I use exactly this stuff And my PC is : I5 9400F GTX 1660 8 GB of Ram (2400 MHz)

Khôi Nguyên Nguyễn

i recommend 16gb,gtx 1650 and a mid-tier cpu

dino right

bruh just use the 1.16.5 version

Robby Dash

this works in 1.16.5?

Jaco van vuuren

What are the minimum PC requirements for using the 128x version with BSL shaders? I am getting some major performance isssues...

Joaquin Navas

it won't let me download it

kua

try downloading each texture pack zip separately by clicking on the file name

Omni

"The user you are downloading from has run out of bandwidth or does not have a premium account. As a premium account holder, you can bulk download the files using your own bandwidth. However, you do not currently have enough bandwidth in your account to perform this action."

ma men

how do i get the paralax occlusion mapping because it doesnt work on seus renewed

So sorry. I just checked. In fact, you are right. Optifine doesn't want to save my settings for some reason. I re-installed and now the game runs at 3-7 fps. I'm moving to the 128x version. Please, take my sincere apologies.

patrix

That's how I know you're not using connected texture, because if you were, the custom ctm textures in my pack will overwrite the placeholder vanilla ones in the block folder Pics from my old patreon post as proof: https://www.patreon.com/posts/smol-update-18-34404292

I have "connected textures" enabled and the pack is fully loaded and running. I used to be a beta tester and I know what I'm doing :-) I opened the Patrix_1.17_256x_basic.zip file. In "block" folder (assets > minecraft > textures > block) the PNG file "blast_furnace_front_on" is 1 KB, and when I open it, it displays the default Minecraft texture. I don't want to be picky, I'm just giving you feedback.

patrix

Sounds like you don't have connected textures enabled/working, that's probably also why you're able to run 256x without problem, because 90% of the pack aren't actually loaded.

I have Ryzen 9 5950x, 64GB RAM and RTX 3090 24GB and I play at 1080p. I updated everything - bios, drivers, java. Try different kind of RAM allocations in Optifine. But be careful, giving it too much RAM can cause issues. Also may help if you set render distance to low or try to turn off some settings.

How are you not crashing? I have 64 GB of RAM and 12 GB of VRAM myself and I crash as soon as it loads.

patrix

Not atm but planned for next month, but it's useless to you anyways since Iris doesn't even support PBR materials yet.

patrix

Not my fault if you didn't read: "Since I've already made posts explaining various common problems with my pack and mediafire, any comments/questions on these matters or things already written in this post will likely be ignored." No fabric-based mods supports custom tints isn't my problem nor a bug on my end either, go complain to fabric devs.

This texture pack looks phenomenal. I'm using the 256x version and the game looks gorgeous. I found only one thing. When the blast furnace is turned on for ore smelting, it uses the default Minecraft texture on the front side.

SirPytan

Not answering is not a hint, a hint would have been: "Look at the common problems section." But the problem is that I don't use Optifine, but Iris and other mods instead, so all the settings you describe to set are not really translatable. Because you need different mods to add different functionality that Optifine has by default but Iris does not. That's why it would be nice if you could also add settings/mods and their options if using Fabric. That would probably be a good option, cause your pack in the higher resolutions is really performance heavy as you know, so it works the most performant with all the performant mods for Minecraft. If you want I can help you to get started with the mods that are needed to cover the features needed for your pack.

patrix

learn to read before reposting your comment, me not answering you the first time should've gave you some clue

SirPytan

Does your pack have Emissiv-Textures, if not will you add them? Cause I use complementary shaders for example and the integrated PBR has some cool stuff like emissiv torches lanterns, glowing eyes and so on, while when I use your pack I need to put it in SEUS PBR mode to have correct interpretation for the anvil and so on under Iris, but then I have no emissivness.

SirPytan

There is a bug in your texture pack, the red carpet item places a white carpet block.

olemariush

download each file individually

Shark

yea i wonder why

olemariush

this is great, runs fantastically on an rtx 3080 ti with 32 gigs of ram at 3440x1440

F BR

Absolutely amazing work, playing the 128x, anything wrong at the moment. Keep it up, this is the best texture pack i've ever seen

GBONS

I've tried Luna HD, Legendary, ModernArch, Stratum, Urban, etc... None of them come close to being as complete as Patrix. Excellent work! Keep it up.

JT Q

Candles aren't glowing. Neither is the glow lichen.

Tune

I got 256x fully working on 1.17.1 without having it crash all the time

Egan

I found a "fix" for the crashes with the 128x pack, because if you download the 1.16 pack, you can still use it on 1.17 without too much of a difference, and then you can use 64x for the new textures

Zguuard

same

Lofi Lummy

i hope iris add connected texture in future so can use this : (

나다

I paid you, but I can't proceed with the download because it's not a media fire pro. Can you send it to me by email?

patrix

you should read the post, not a big deal

theChubbs

give your game 3gb...

Scott Hunter

Have a look for NTCM it's just been made a V1 Beta (Pepper's Mods)

theChubbs

so, my shit laptop can only run it with Iris shader mod and things, having issues when using ConnectedBlockTextures and CTM for fabric simultaniously. nothing seems to fix it, even tried removing one of 'em. specifically its telling me to enable CTM. im also having some block rendering errors. things like grass texture wrong

Prof

You should move to MEGA, not a big deal. There is a bandwidth limit on zipping all the files and downloading them all at once, I don't think MEGA has that problem. Just something to think about it's not a huge deal

Tune

Why does the 128x keep crashing even tho I gave it 100GB of ram even with shaders off, im only able to run the 64x at 80fps I should still be able to run 128x no problem

theo the slav!

getting the resource reload error every time I try to apply the new packs

Scott Hunter

depends if your shader supports 1.17

John Heiselman

glow lichen doesnt glow

patrix

This pack is made for java minecraft only, bedrock lacks the various connected texture features required for my pack to work correctly.

Slevin Kelevra

I'm pretty new to this. Does this pack work with the Windows 10 Bedrock version of the game? My understanding is that there should be a .mcpack file to utilize via the Windows version of Minecraft, though I'm seeing pack.mcmeta and such. Any suggestions on how to proceed / will this work in my version of the game?

상어 고새

i dont download pack

Guillaume Bajeux

Je n'arrive pas à dl le pack :(

Dedicated

Oof even the 128 version is crashing on my threadripper and 3090 combo

patrix

no

Truitt Williams

is the 32x version the only option for 1.17 so far?

Kayumi

no you don't, if you would read the post properly you would know how to download the pack

Tijn

can you make another link for it because i need to pay for mediafire

patrix

yes, that's what the "adds several fixes" meant

HexHyte

Probably already asked but still, will the properties.block file make the 1.17 blocks that are not supported by SEUS PTGI supported?

Tremmer

Must agree, the blood nether just needs to be redone if you ask me.

Geek Riot

I keep trying to find another resource pack to doesn't have blood nd guts for the nether, but keep coming back to yours. All others just fail. I keep trying to find another hi-res pack because of a few textures in yours just don't seem to agree to me. Nether warts changed to beating hearts, netherrack changed to bleeding pulsating intestines, netherack gold ore changed to intestings with what looks like rotting sores, nether quarts ore looking like bones in intestines, and soul sand looking like dead intestines. Any chance to have these blocks look more reminiscent of their minecraft originals and put the artistic changes into a bonus pack? All I have loaded is 128x basic and items. Being able to customize the pack is part of what makes this pack great. Being able to choose whether to have blood and guts would make your resource pack that much better.

Marquess

Did the 32x version get updated along with that?

patrix

you probably have the wrong settings or mods then

Tremmer

What are you talking about with 258 not working? It works perfectly fine at 60 fps.

Christopher A Horner

Well great new I was one of the crashers and this update does not crash my minecraft! yay.

Max Yang

the skulk sensors are satisfying, but slightly disgusting. Could stare at it for ages, but also cringe a bit.

patrix

Probably nowhere soon

Obi-chan Shinobi

Will you add mobs?

Kade Kirsch

Very nice! Thank you for doing this!

5Flying

looks great

Joseph Polo

awesome

Mast3rBlast3r01

Noice

Alexandre Beaudoin-Lavergne
