I have an RTX 3080ti 12gb and core I9 10900k with 2 gb ram allocated and I’m getting 60 fps with 12 chunks render distance and suez hrr shaders

I have not I must admit. I apologize. I saw some footage of a 3090 struggling heavily with the 256 and figured if a 3090 can't get 30 fps on a decent render distance then id probly struggle just as much on the lowest render

I got 4 16 gb sticks of 3200mhz corsair ram xmpd and everything. It sucks to cause I actually can't run the 256 it just crashes even with 64 allocated to optifine and I don't use mods.

how much RAM do you have? I think he said sometimes, that at least 64 gb of ram is required to run it properly. I mean even i with 32 gb of ram cannot run the 256 pack.

Separating the items from the main pack is the best thing. I can run 256x items with a 64x block texture

The textures are excellent, all-around. The only issue I'm seeing is that all wool (blocks and carpet) are showing white, regardless of the color. I confirmed that all settings listed above are configured right. Any ideas where I can look?

Don't use Fabric with this. Use Optifine. I'm using Optifine and everything is working very well. Fabric + Indium + Continuity + Sodium + Iris are not suitable for this because they are not past alpha state. If you want the best overall complete experience with shaders and this beautiful texture pack you need to run Optifine and spend time adjusting your shaders and optimizing Optifine performance. I recommend running no more than 1440p resolution and using 64x version of Patrix textures (256x for the mobs is fine). My performance is smooth at 1440p and 30 chunks render distance with RTX 2060 Super.

New textures don't work for me either, but I'm using Fabric + Indium + Continuity. Previously that worked perfectly (with much better performance than Forge + Optifine). Most recent textures do not work, and even previous textures seem to be affected like the black leaves that now appear in trees.

This is truly an awesome resource pack. I have been looking for a texture pack like this for ages. Stays true to vanilla minecraft but somehow just manages to make everything look beautiful. And it's really nice to see it's almost 100% complete with frequent updates. Thank you Patrix.

Hello, I have 64Gb + 3090 + Ryzen 5950x and I'm thinking to play on the 32x. I just can't understand why I'm always under 60Fps I play only on survival. Server or solo are the same :/ With 32Gb + a good CPU + a good videocard, you should run 64-128x without problem

I'm not familiar with fabric, but you can get on the patron discord and ask for help, I think it's possible to make the custom entity models to work without optifine with fabric mods that supports optifine-format custom entity models.

My son told me the answer to the inability to find the gold channel. I originally joined at a lower level and then upgraded to gold to be able to download the mobs. What I did not do is resynch to discord from Patreon so Discord still saw my earlier level. When I then logged into Patreon it said I was gold level and there was a link to synch to Discord - I did this and the gold channel showed up.

Hi. I downloaded the 128x 43 update and have them placed in Resource Packs folder and added to game top to bottom: fabric mods (mod resources), items, addon, basic, default. I also have the video settings as described above. However, the animals all have the default textures. Any ideas what I need to change?

Ye I should make a catalog of all the special features but never got enough motivation. You can check the "features list" text file included in the addon/bonus/models pack to see what they add, or load up the packs and check them ingame on my rp test map. I hid the bonus pack behind a warning folder because the textures looks very different from vanilla block colors, and a lot of people just load up every pack without knowing what they add and then complains about it.

I only got introduced to this pack with 1.17. Haven't tried the bonus pack yet since it says don't use if you don't know what it does, but with this latest update moving some features I had seen into the bonus pack, is there anywhere that lists what the bonus pack does, like how conquest had the index of biome variant textures?

It may seem like not a lot of work but entity textures are very hard/annoying to do, especially when it's realistic-styled with accurate normal/specular textures. You can go check if there are any other hd packs that has animals with shader textures, you probably can't find a lot or any at all. That's why I'm charging $5 minimum for 128x/256x mobs, the 32x/64x are still available tho.

So I'm confused, if we have emerald subscription.... now it's useless in these updates for 256x unless we up to the $5 a month subscription? I may as well stop my subscription and then come back in 5 months for a more significant update. This resource pack has been my absolute favorite and has been my first patreon subscription but this is reaching. I really wish this new plan would be reworked because the updates aren't significant enough to warrant $5 a month.
