“Here all alone?”
The voice startled me. I turned to see who it came from.
What I saw startled me again: an Alpha, a woman of immense muscularity and beauty. She was attired in a dress that consisted of nothing more than a collection of thin red straps. But the woman lacked in coverage she made up for in curves: unobstructed views of her massive muscles and feminine features made more of an impression than a dress ever could.
“I guess so. “The beach has been empty for like an hour,” I finally answered, my mind racing. I had always been an awkward man, and situations like this made it even worse. “You?”
”Yes and no,” she replied. “Company meeting.”
”At your company, they wear THAT to a meeting?” I blurted
She looked at her strappy not-really-a-dress. “When you work for a company that redesigns female genetics, then yes.”
”Alpha Genomics,” I finally said, putting it all together. The manufacturer of the treatments that were turning women into superhuman behemoths the world over. “Good meeting?”
“Ugh,” she pouted. “It’s dragged on for days. Now we finally get a break and they give us a scavenger hunt to fill the entire time. It’s supposed to lighten the mood. But I’d rather just relax. How about you — looks like you have the relaxing thing figured out.”
“I have almost too much time.” I nervously rubbed the condensation away from my daiquiri. “I came here with my girlfriend. And then we had another argument. And then she met this guy. And now….”
”Ouch.”
She was right. It sucked. I sucked. Years with no relationship, and then one month with her, and then this.
”I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with me. Or why I’m even telling you this.”
“Maybe nothing’s wrong with you.”. She helped herself to a seat on my lounger, right where my hips should have been.
I shifted myself away from her, but there wasn’t really room given her scale. My hips ended up pressed against her thighs, the light, cool ocean breeze replaced by her heavy warmth. My hands started to shake with anxiety. She had the face of an angel, curves that very well could have been carved by the devil, and — if news reports were accurate — the strength of an army plattoon.
”I’ve never been this close to an Alpha before,” I admitted.
”Intimidating?” she asked.
I tried to maintain my composure.
“It just takes some adjustment,” I said with feigned confidence. But my voice squeaked when I said it.
She returned a knowing smile. “Here, let me help you adjust then.”
The woman draped one leg over my lounger and, in an instant, was straddling my thighs. Her strength easily pinned them together. Her smile broaded as she flexed both biceps at one. Muscles that were already astoundingly large exploded into dimensions that were positively unreal. “Go ahead and feel. Alpha girls like having their bodies admired. We’re egotistical that way.”
I slid one hand over each bicep. She flexed the muscle further. I watched in disbelief as the growing mass spread my fingers apart.
”Hyper-muscle is what we call it. It looks like just a big male muscle, but it is entirely different. Superior in every possible way. Go ahead, squeeze it.”
I tried. Her biceps were smooth as marble and every bit as hard. “Are you really as strong as a platoon?”
“Don’t be insulting,” she giggled, lowering her cannons. ”A platoon is only twenty to fifty soldiers. Feeling less intimidated now?”
I took account of myself, like a man rousing from a dream. “Strangely, yes. You’re nice.”
The smile she gave me was so warm it was like a second sun had risen over the beach. “Good. I need you unintimidated if I’m going to enjoy some daiquiri with you.”
Still pinned to the lounger by her straddling thighs, I craned my neck toward the beach bar to find the guy who brought the daiquiri’s. But I felt her finger on my chin turning my head back toward her.
”Do you think I’m pretty?”
”’Pretty’ doesn’t describe it. I can’t believe I’m even talking to you.”
”Do you know what a turn on that is for us girls, to rescue a guy from his insecurities? Guys aren’t the only gender with a hero complex.”
“I don’t deserve to….”
But there was no way I could finish that sentence. She had schooched herself up on me, so that she was straddling my hips now, her weight delightfully embracing my man hood. There must have been a human furnace on the other side of those thin panties. I instantly hardened under her smothering heat.
