373 - Hiatus and info!
🕑 Added 2024-12-09 17:00:07 +0000 UTCFinally, after almost 2 years and 150 pages, Neri gets to go to sleep. And I too, shall rest. Not really.
So this starts the 1 month hiatus for the patreon! Thankfully January 9th is a thursday and chapter 12 will pick up then. Since the patreon is still per-creation, you don't have to do a thing and won't be charged until i start posting pages again.
I'm going to use this month for a few things:
finishing up some last bits about the second kickstarter and shipping stuff out
Painting my butt off for a couple MTG cards, a couple playmats, and an extremely patient commissioner
Going on vacation for the first time in 8 years.
Christmas tattoo! Not of christmas, but there's an award winning artist around here that's gonna draw stylized Neri on my forearm on the 23rd.
And prepping/ drawing some backgrounds for 12. I'll post all the backgrounds I drew for 11 on the 5 and 10 dollar patrons in a separate post after this one.
I hope ya'll have a good holiday season! When the public pages get to the end of 11, they'll take a month off as well, so for a couple months our lead won't be as mighty, but we'll be back to a 20 page head start by about March or April of 2025.
In the tumultuous time of ever changing social media, couple new links for you!
CS has an Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/caelumskycomic/
I started posting back in August? September? Currently at Chapter 10, I think, but it's been awesome to see new folks get interested in the series!
I also now have a bluesky account! https://bsky.app/profile/alradeck.bsky.social
And while we get a lot of our discord members being yanked in here from this patreon if they have it connected, for folks that don't, CS has a mighty Discord that's 800+ strong and been going for 4? 5? years? we play some games together, have a strict no politics policy, and is full of awesome people.
Have a good month and see you next year! <3
