Stylized Plant with Outline 🪴
🕑 Added 2021-11-03 20:00:49 +0000 UTCI've been creating a project where I needed some plants, I looked up all the tutorials about stylized trees, vegetations etc. but I couldn't find one with outlines, so I had to figure it out myself. I already knew how to make every leaf their own outline (you can see this in the video when it looks like a cabbage) but I wanted the outlines on the edges only.
It's a fact that the best thoughts come to your mind late night when you can't sleep, now this is what happened with me exactly: " I can mask out the middle part with a fresnel node, so the outline is shown on the outer part only".
Today I tried this out and it worked indeed.
Maybe I'm gonna a make a tutorial about this one in the future.
I'm making something bigger this time, maybe it won't see the light of day, maybe it will, the two-dimensional supporters and above will get all the good stuffs anyways. WIPs are coming soon. Stay tuned! 🧡
