Little Delay
🕑 Added 2019-06-02 01:15:41 +0000 UTCThere are still few things missing, so new version will be delayed until June 3rd at most. We had to delay mostly because new scene is not ready, when the scene is completed, we will release the new version. This version will not be 0.2. Before I said that goblins will not be ready in time and naturally their questline and scene will be missing, so instead we'll release version 0.2 with goblins and a new scene with guards before entering the village. In 0.3, village will be added and hopefully we'll be able to do some bounty hunting, or maybe we'll find some honest(!) job to earn some money.
I had to change so many things, mostly because I didn't have time to test lots of things at first version. I worked on a little side project this month and that gave me opportunity to experiment with new things. I had to work on lot's of things, especially I needed to widen my cutscene library and improve my cutscene code overall. I switched from full tileset based map design to mostly object based map design since there are lot's of object that needs collision, shadow and depth sorting. I'll also re-do inventory/character screen and combat when I have time. It's really satisfying to see the results of our work.
Things to look forward in next update:
- 4 new characters(optional ally/neutral/enemy)
- 2 new quests
- 1 new outfit
- 1 main map(forest) and 6 new locations
- Interactable objects
- Added our patreons names on credits(tell me if you don't want your name to be shown)
And lot's of minor changes will be included. I'll give more details when new version is available.
