Weekly Report
🕑 Added 2021-01-28 15:41:27 +0000 UTCHello, after the last update, things have been going smooth as I hoped, finally. Until now, development staggered a lot and I always wanted to add more content instead of technical improvements, but in the end I wanted to be ready for the future of the project before anything else. Since it's a lot harder to improve the engine when we add more content, I wanted to do this as early as I could.
I needed to add a couple of new features to my cutscene system for the upcoming scene, but it didn't take much time so I started working on the scene. I'd like to talk more about that when we release the next update with the new story.
That aside, I'm mostly polishing the current features we have. I also added some features that ShySeel(fish and duck animations) and Kaan(some 3D audio objects that he can easily use to add sounds in game) have requested from me before. Here's a sample scene(it still has some issues since it's WIP).
Increased DPAD size per a request and also added a new difficulty option which will allow players skip combat encounters and automatically win any combat as well, in case it's triggered by a cutscene.
I plan to finish coding everything needed for the upcoming story content in as soon as I can and then focus on writing until the new update. See you next week!
