Before this week I had to make some changes to inventory as well as many small improvements to others system while I'm porting project, fixing some bugs as well. Currently I'm checking interactions like bounty board, NPC's and interactable objects. After I confirm combat and cutscene systems are functional, we'll release an update with our new forest assets and close our poll. Many new harvestable plants as well as their items will be added this update, currently they don't have any functionality, which will probably be with crafting and alchemy update since they are mostly added for crafting purposes.
Shyseel here, I started designing the actual map, adding all the new plants, rocks etc. to the forest area. I'm planning to add friendly or neutral creatures to the forest so that its more lively. I'm going to try to animate as many as I can before our dev is ready for the update. I'm really looking forward to horse riding but since we have a lot to do right now I'm not sure when it will be coming along. I will be renovating more of the forest (Bandit Camp and Church) later on since out priority is the town right now. It would be nice to hear what forest/farm animal you would love to see (bird, sheep, horse, fox, dog, goose, deer are currently in my drafts.) I've animated fish and ducks already. Let me know if you are interested down below or on any social media platform.
