2024 Jobs Update Beta 1 Sent Out + Next Update Poll
🕑 Added 2024-09-01 03:42:42 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
2024 Jobs Update Beta 1 has been sent out. Here is the change log:
- Added image of girlfriend bench pressing to muscle levels 13-18 (while doing the home weights activity with the bench press)
- Added the recently provided image 'str-9' to the level 9 muscle scene; this currently has 3 images, and I may end up bumping up the 'old' level 9 images to the level 10 scene in the future since muscle level 10 is moreso where the ripped 8-pack should start appearing anyways
- Added both of these to the gallery
- Also added the older workout image of the girlfriend squatting to the gallery, which was apparently missing before.
- Changed the data entry center to be closed on Thursday and Friday, and now shifts are available from 5PM to 11:59 PM.
- One of the core goals of this update is to start alleviating the gameplay loop of simply grinding the jobs over and over, and to at least have to either switch up which jobs you do, or spend time developing in other ways. (More 'entry' level jobs will help shore this up further in the future).
- Added post-work dialogues for the girlfriend working as a video game streamer
- Added post-work dialogues for the girlfriend working as a muscle streamer
- Turns out that the full body comparison dialogues that I thought were added last time had the wrong variable for the personas, so they weren't displaying. Changed this to the correct name.
- Added comparison descriptions and dialogues for all of the Player Stage 3 images. (30 dialogues and 10 descriptions total for 10 images).
- Added comparison descriptions and dialogues for the remaining Player Stage 2 images (girlfriend stage 6, 7, 8, 9, 10)
The update has been added to the same Google Drive link containing the previous alpha. Decided it was fair to make this available to supporters with lapsed pledges due to the long wait time.
If you processed a $10+ pledge within the past month and have not received this Google Drive link, please DM me or comment here and I will send it to you.
The recent poll was a surprising development, as I had not personally expected that more than half of players develop the player character to that degree. Planning on running this poll on Deviantart and seeing how the results compare. Will definitely be adding more comparison dialogues for the remaining player stages in the future.
In the process of writing these comparison dialogues, I've also started to further hone in on defining the different personalities - especially the default persona's drive for improvement, and the dominant persona's protectiveness/motherliness, along with her own pleasure/comfort in being bigger. Ideally at some point a lot of the old darker / more villainous dominant personality dialogues will be repurposed into a new persona, (with new dialogues written for the dominant persona as well), probably a bully or villain as proposed in previous polls.
Still planning on doing a full playtest of the game and fixing whatever bugs are found in the process. And also introducing more minor RNG involving the earnings on some jobs like streaming.
But in the meantime, I'd like to determine what the next update will be focused on.
The poll is set to run for 1 week after its creation time, so vote before it ends! You can select multiple options, so choose everything you're interested in.
Villain Persona:
Creates a new persona that will use some of the more dramatic/villainesque dialogues from the Dominant persona to create a new persona that's hammy and wants to take over the world. - Will also further focus the Dominant persona on being a kind-hearted 'muscle mommy' - Villain Persona would have an optional Cruel toggle, if enabled she will insult and belittle the player.
Bully Persona:
Instead of a 'villain' this persona would be more of a traditional bully character, as opposed to a dramatic villain. She's rude through and through, belittling your accomplishments when you're superior, and endlessly teasing you when she's superior. If selected, another poll would determine the extent of her insults/cruelty towards the player. Like with the Villain persona, the Dominant persona would be further focused on being a kind-hearted 'muscle mommy'. Please note that this is an 'either/or' with the Villain persona - if one wins, then the other will stop being offered, as they both fill a similar role.
Willpower Update:
- Adds a willpower stat with corresponding focus resource. Focus is used like stamina to perform mentally demanding tasks.
- Adds a meditation activity to train willpower, along with a brain-teaser like equipment to passively do so. Willpower experience can also be gained from most mental-focused activities and jobs.
- Adds willpower amulet and potions.
- Adds at least 2 willpower centric scenes
- Adds willpower quick talks
Agility Update:
- Adds an agility stat that dictates how fast one can move their body and their coordination
- Adds agility experience to various abilities
- Adds at least 2 Agility scenes
- Adds Agility quick dialogues
- Adds Amulet / Focusing crystal for Reaction Speed + Agility (and changes reactions potion to boost both agility and reactions)
2024 Polishing Update:
A general all-around update focused on identifying and implementing quality of life improvements, and adding some extra content where things are lacking.
Time Update:
- Revamps activities so they can be performed for increments of time. This includes short bursts, or very long extended workouts for high-level characters.
- A time machine invention

Raging Sky
In past playthroughs, I've made the player character as smart as possible, but never increased his physical capabilities. But I'm not that surprised at how many people made the player character buff. And I've never been a fan of the bullying persona, it's just not fun for me. I like the idea of a villain who knows she's powerful enough to take over the world off of her sheer strength. For someone who turns into a literal goddess that makes a lot more sense than bullying one lowly human.
