October's Release Proposal
🕑 Added 2017-10-07 21:07:13 +0000 UTC Hello everyone,While the full release of 5.0 is months away, I want to have monthly deliverable for you all to enjoy and critique. This gives you value for your Patronage, and also shows you my progress on various things.
Here's my idea for October's Release.
The Gym
This would be a vertical slice of gameplay that shows off the new strength and physical progression overhaul. It would simply consist of The Girlfriend character at the Gym, improving her body.
It would feature all of the planned workouts, and would demonstrate the new stat systems by allowing you to easily "replenish" the girlfriend's stamina. Example activities:
Lifting Weights (with all of the various lifts)
Calisthenics (with the various different bodyweight exercises)
Rejuvenation Chamber (which grows her muscles if there's enough experience points)
Descriptions would be fairly simple, but would get the point across.
There would also be a menu where you can give the girlfriend various Perks, and change her skill levels to show how these things effect the experience formulas.
If we go with the separate bodypart groups having their own stats, you'd also be able to see those systems in place. In fact, through this release, you could play with these change firsthand, and decide whether or not you want them in the full version of the game.
The Gym would be a full game in itself - though almost all of the code in it would be used in 5.0 one way or another. I'd likely release it on DeviantArt (after your exclusivity period) for everyone to enjoy together.
Does this sound like something that would be fun?
