Sims Inventory Management System (S.I.M.S.)
🕑 Added 2023-12-23 01:03:24 +0000 UTCI have heard of so many simmers getting their items stuck in inventories after moving or merging households. In cases where some of you were able to get the items out, you still weren't able to live drag or interact with them again.
The Sims Inventory Management System (S.I.M.S.) solves that problem and more! Through the S.I.M.S. clipboard you can selectively bulk transfer items between storage objects, sims, and household inventory. You can also selectively bulk sell items from any of these inventories!
Choose any storage object that contains items in its inventory!
- Storage Chests
- Fridges
- Flower Tables
- Aquariums
- Craft Sales Tables
- Bookcases
- Keepsake boxes
Here are the highlights:
- Fixes inventory issues after moving, merging, and splitting households
- Bulk transfer selected & unlimited items between storage objects and sims
- Regain ownership & control of items stuck in storage items
- Active sim is given ownership of all transferred items
- If an item cannot be transferred, it will remain safe in the source inventory
- Bulk sell selected & unlimited items from an object inventory or household inventory
- Items sell at their current value - no multipliers

Okay, I downloaded the CC "clipboard" into my Sims inventory. I was expecting it to work sort of like the Llamazon card does from my inventory, but I have to place it in the world to use it. Since most of the menu options I have show up as "..." (i.e. no words/descriptions), I'm not sure what I need to click on to accomplish anything. I did some more testing. I don't even see headers for the screens that pop up so I can't tell if I'm accessing the ownership options or the transfer ones.

I just tried to use this in game and I am sadly lost ๐ญ... I don't have transfer options on the chest, the sim, or the household inventory outside the standard ones. Is it supposed to be as simple as clicking? Click in live mode/buy mod? Click on the sim/the item? Thanks in advance!
