Having her describe what the egg laying felt like was amazing. Please consider combine the egg laying suggestion with the subject losing the ability to speak and start clucking more as they describe what it feels like to lay the egg. Like, at first, it's occasional clucking that they can brush off/ignore, but as it goes on they are confused why they can't talk normally
