It's kinda sad to see Finn seeing himself as a kid in his mind palace and seeing it's absolutely empty, unlike Fionna's, which is cluttered to the brim. I see that static television is a representation of the og T.V show no longer airing, henceforth his adventure is over

So this season has had a lot of decisiveness from fans, but all in all it's considered Fionna and Cake's character-building season. It focuses on Fionna trying to figure out how to be a hero in her own way and Cake's identity after no longer being a regular cat. We also get to know more about Huntress, who was originally a background character in the first series and who got some spotlight in the last two seasons. It really is a slice-of-life season, all in all. I never really thought the "saving Finn" plotline was enough to carry this season since we know Finn will live because of Distant Lands, so the stakes were never really that high to me. I enjoyed it this season! It was a slow burn, but it was worth it. I really hope that HBOMax greenlights it for a 3rd season. People are already storming up theories on that after-credit scene.
