Havn't checked out the manga, but feels like we could have a movie on our hands and then maybe a finishing up season after?

This episode was excellent, but there is one point that I didn't like: there is nothing that shows it is a season finale, they simply started important fights and interrupted them, there is no cliffhanger, it would have been perfectly possible to fit in at least another 2 episodes

Charles

Just finished watching the episode and had to come see Flexie's reaction to Kafka being an absolute hero

TRUE

Mina is kinda the goat when you think about it, she has no Numbers weapon bs like all the other main fighters, just all her own skill pure badass.

Fabrício Reis

Shinomyia raising her shield in desperation was outstand in the dub! same for the platoon leader there by the end! i teared a bit!

Chad

Okay, this is one of those rare series that I actually think the dub does a great job. There are some killer lines in English in this episode that are missing from the Japanese version. Especially one of Kafka's right at the end.

Adrian Eccelston

The glazing they did in this episode was way too much it threw me off but besides that its a good episode. Painful cliffhanger though.

axelscythe

nah, season 3 would definitely be the final season

Episode ended, I was so hype for next week, just to learn that this was the last one... It's sooo mean to end like that :') But, one good point of this season, it ends with high intensity and stakes ! Don't know how the rest of story is, I see it will probably end in less than 15/20 episodes, but I can't see all of them alive in the end.. Can't wait !

Jessie

also the show should be 4 seasons, based on manga content

Vaxus335

These season cliffhangers are vile man

Sky DR

The episode was amazing but really wish there was one more episode for this season

Psy

My guess, is they will finish this with season 3. There isn't a whole lot of content left, but I think 12 more episodes.

Siliyan

To finish the rest of the story, the studio will need 17 episodes at minimum. They can't wrap up everything in S3 - with just 12 episodes, I'm guessing either S3 with part 1 and then part 2 , or after S3 they can do a movie. It's up to the studio of course.

The chills when Kafka’s theme kicked in!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Jessie

what made me fall in love with the Kaiju no.8 manga was absolutely amazing side characters that I immediately loved! I can’t wait for you to see the insane action that’s coming in season 3 🔥🔥🔥
