On the topic on why they don't just find and kill Gero early: I do like the explanation they give in Kai where Krillin points out that having a common enemy, at least in the past, is kinda what kept the bad-guys turned anti-heroes in check. Because of the Saiyan attack, it kept Piccolo from doing anything he would've otherwise. Without the threat of the Androids, there's no way to know what Vegeta might do if he thought he could get away with it. It's still a very meager way to paint over a plothole, but at least it's something

I thought it was Goku, Vegeta, Trunks and Gohan(Half) because we find out of a 2nd super sayin trunks has to be sayin but I guess nappa is a more reasonable answer

Even as an American, until way later when Goku says "I learned it eating sick aliens", I thought that line meant their vomit. I was very confused.

Can confirm that in canon, Trunks did know it was Gero, but they all thought the dude was dead I guess or that he wouldn’t show his face so blatantly like he did as Android 20.

Australian here, and... yeah, I always assumed the "fed me their sick" meant their vomit. That was supposed to mean sick *people*? How do you guys not use 'sick' to also refer to vomit, that totally baffles me.

Oh yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. All these years, I never connected Nappa to that scene.

I believe the "three and half" he is referring to is himself, Goku, Gohan (half), and Nappa.

"Why does everything smell like copper?" "Because he has a nosebleed." ....almost 10 years, and I've legitimately always thought it was because he could smell his own brain smoking. I never once put together that he had a nosebleed. "A little more filler." To be fair, it the BEST filler episode. I'm pretty sure there would've been some fans disappointed if you didn't reference it in some capacity. I actually just realized a possible continuity error. Vegeta corrects Bulma and says "3 and a half" before cutting himself off. If I'm correct, you guys were referencing Tarble at that point. However, way later, in Plan to Eradicate Christmas, you imply that Tarble was never found after Vegeta shot his pod. Not a call out, just an observation I made.
