I haven't played BB (beyond the first 10-15 minutes), so I don't know which event you are referring to, but I do agree the story premise ar very alike, so there's bound to be some similar events in here (also with other games, either in artwork, or in events). For what it's worth, I try to be as original as possible, but yeah, most things have be done before, in one form or another.

Loads of parallel events and situations. MOTH generally does them all better though.
