What do you mean by newish version? Pre v0.8.3. saves won't work in v0.8.3 or higher (as listed in the change log), but otherwise nothing has changed there. Ashley will only sleep with MC if he closes the door, are you doing that? If you have any questions please post them to the community section or the Discord help channe, I'm available on there every day.

Since the newish version where we can't use the old saves Ashley won't sleep in MCs bed after a scary movie. Wasn't sure where to write this so I'll just put it here.
