🕑 Added 2025-12-17 16:29:42 +0000 UTCI had a lot of thought about Alexei and Mischa's relationship tbh. At first I did think Alexei was that evil. You know, the sadist who thinks of everyone as disposable pawns, but tbh that never really fit right since I already imagined his dynamic with Irwin since the first BS and I know he's not THAT heartless. He's a sadist yes, but he still has attachments.
So to me this fits better, Mischa is closest to him in age, being only 2 years younger than him. Both have lost their mothers to the Dead Zone war with Ivar, and I think Alexei considers Misha as more of a sibling than just a mere cousin. The other cousins notice this of course (especially the incestuous ones, for obvious reasons)
Alexei likes that the OG Mischa is not that scared of him and is fully aware of their many attempts to dethrone him but he doesn't mind it. He gets off on power, he enjoys the tricks and mind games, and generally looks forward to whatever acts of defiance his cousin does next. I always thought of Alexei as a gifted, privileged child who just thinks he can do whatever he wants to Mischa, thinking they'd never break until he willed it so, and boy was he wrong!
By the way just because I want to write it but idk where. Despite me blanking the bachelors and casts ages so you guys can imagine their ages to whatever suits you best, personally, I think their ages are as follows:
Osgar - 18
Till - 19
Mischa - 19
Alexei - 21
Palmy - 24 (So basically the twink quartet are like 22-24 as well. Lyall is 21)
Conri - 27
Lowell - 30 (Yup that maid is a 30 year old man, lol. I like to think the larger the wolf, the smaller the human form is, that's why Poppy's wolf form in the first game is also so massive)
If you read the screenshot, let me know what you think! Alexei and Conri revealed their personalities the least in the demo so I'm curious how people would react!

Vortec thrives on violence and dominance so in his way, Alexei thinks he is just loving his cousin. Love in vampire territory is iffy for sure but we will see if mc can bring a different kind of affection on the table, perhaps one that doesn’t involve bloodshed

I want to hate this man, but I feel a bit bad considering he did care in his own way for his cousin. I was a touch confused on the difference between "Alex" and Alexi's relationship to the MC. But it's nice to see the care is still there if only in a different way due to circumstances. Love me a morally grey/complex character. I'm looking forward to see if there will be a option for Alexi to bond with his new(?) cousin in a more genuine way.

omg, i was so ready to kill him, now I feel bad. I think the relationship between otherworld player and ignia(?) Alexei is so interesting as they both struggle with an imposter holding the face of the one they hold dear. you’re amazing <333!
