As Laylani's situation was getting worse, Pacifica suggested it would improve her status if she consumed blood. So Molly decided to just give her blood on the spot.
She could partially be thinking that moving her at her current situation might be a bad idea.
Or, she could partially be feeling a little responsible for what happened.
Dream didn't stop or try to convince Molly because she already knew there was no talking her back from this, so her main focus would be to do what she could to assist with whatever her little miss decided to do.
During the chaos, Angelia just asked the question. (It was inappropriate and not the time, but it was definitely an Angelia thing to do.)
Laylani took back a little of her senses, but still half out, and not completely recovered yet, but somewhat aware of what's happening.

That's true. The change gives her more of an action roll. For my interpretation, the orginal 2 words simply told us that Dream had a full understanding of Molly's current feelings and it gave her a moment to be the mature older sister telling Pacfica to stand down. (oh god, i'm becoming like my english teachers...over analyzing literature and thinking too much...help!) Really I'm just glad someone turned off the "kill all who harm Molly" mode. That would've been bad.

While I thought so to, but I changed it, because it seems like she's just repeating what little miss ordered. in this version, it's Dream being in her serious mode (not goofing around) and actually analyzing the situation and coming up with a solution already.
