Insight Chapter 34 - Sunshine

Shorter chapter to compliment the longer one yesterday, but I'm glad I sat on it for a night because there were a few things I changed and added this morning. This one made me... a bit emotional. Be warned, this is not... a happy chapter. I may have made myself cry. That is all.

She mentioned before thinking it was making the funeral tree grow that did it. Jade was lucky it triggered automatically too. It sucks to have experienced that trauma, but at least she was able to fix it and can now tell talk about the mistake and how to prevent it from happening again. Growth! Maybe.

Ouch, dark, but good chapter... I don't recall, when did she pick up time magic? Is it part of one of her big magic consolidation bundles? (or is it like the Big Bang Theory joke? "What do we want?" "A time machine!" "When do we want it?" "It doesn't matter!") (Ah, she got it in Chapter 22 - google docs does searches well, not surprisingly. Accidentally and she wasn't sure how, at that...)
