Sorry, I know it's been a while, but I hope you've all been well! This month has been absolutely crazy, with Dragon Con, FanX, trying to find a place to live, moving, being a bridesmaid in my old roommate's wedding, and buying furniture and unpacking. The good news is that all that is finally over! (Well, everything except the unpacking. I'm still doing that.) Point is, life is finally back to normal! (mostly.)
I did also just get my blood work back yesterday, which has explained why on top of the crazy business, I've been kinda dead/sick for the last few months. My levels are... very much not what they should be. Things that should be low are high, things that should be high are low, and my doctor literally asked me, "How have you been functioning as a human being with these levels? You have like nothing fueling your brain." To which my response was, "I haven't been functioning." So yeah. I'm finally getting on new meds and dosages in order to try and balance my body out again and get it back to functional.
So yeah, thank you for your support. Again, I'm really sorry I haven't posted much this month because life smacked me upside the head, but getting back on track now! It looks like Sense probably won't be published on Amazon until December though, just because it's not finished and has to go through editing, but November is already fully booked with MDP titles. So it's going to be my Christmas baby. <3

I think the fellacai can turn their pollen into babies. That would explain the large number and also keep them from being related genetically.
You mean Jade did fellacai matchmaking between brothers and sisters? Are they insects or incests.
Quite possibly "thousands of tiny fellacai". The chapter mentions one queen and one male and says "their mom and dad". And apparently those thousand are a quarter of their size which could imply they are all of approximately the same age. Though it would be hard to count that many during the flashback so it could just be a guess. The cage in the classroom contains hundreds, but we don't know what portion of the original lot was captured. Later in the chapter Jade does says parent, plural, so that could drop it down to hundreds instead of thousands.
How many babies can each queen have I wonder?
Also liked the celestial feces. The only thing that kept this series from being kid friendly was a comment from Raphael early in Siphon. Wish he had Cami's vocabulary.
