New Improved Base Sets!
🕑 Added 2024-06-21 13:52:12 +0000 UTCHey Miniature Makers,
We have been working on making some big improvements to our base sets based on your feedback. We kept the size the same so you are still getting a 33-piece set for each style.
We now have the first two sets ready for you guys! This month it is Worn Interlocking Stone and Wild Grass.
How the Bases Have Improved:
The bases have improved in pretty much every single way.
Magnet Holes
The bases now come with 5x2mm magnet slots built into them to allow for safer transport and storage.
More Detailed
The bases have more depth allowing for a higher grade of detail on each base.
Hollowed to Save Print Material
The new design uses a lot less material than the previous bases while keeping support bars to allow for both resin and FDM printing.
Better Match Existing Bases
The outer rim and height of the bases now better match those your existing minis already have fit in better with your collection.
Smaller File Sizes
The new method for making them allows us to further reduce the file size of each base.
No Warping With Resin
Due to how the supports attach to the bars of the bases and that they use less resin the chance of bases warping during resin printing is vastly reduced.
Easier Support Removal
As the supports attach more efficiently due to the edges, magnet holes, and bars, they come off much easier for resin printing.
Base Sizes Included:
25mm (5 versions), 28mm (3 versions), 32mm (5 versions), 40mm (3 versions), 50mm (2 versions), 65mm (2 versions), 90mm (2 versions), 100mm (2 versions), 65x35mm (3 versions), 75x42mm (2 versions), 90x52mm, 105x70mm, 120x92mm, 170x105mm
They come laid flat for FDM and Fully Pre-supported for Resin printing.

Just to be clear. Are you discontinuing the base types(I.e. shape) you’ve produced over the few months? As I find it easy to do in Lychee, I’ve always put my own magnet holes in your bases (I use 8x0.5 or 8x1) and the extra resin for not having a hollow base doesn’t really bother me - if anything it adds a bit of weight to help keep the minis vertical. I can see I’m going to have to have a rethink about my magnet strategy 🤔

Have you thought about movement trays at all guys? I need loads to fit square bases and rectangular bases for inf and cav, plus movement trays for your round and oval shaped bases as I play alot of mass figure battles :)
