Both is good. I would say do what you are in the mood for. If you are in the mood for cute then do cute or nsfw do that. You are the artist who draw the beautiful art.

Do as you feel like. Your NSFW content is really nice, but if it pulls you down that also means quality will drop and that makes nobody happy at the end then
