Never be someone's rebound they'll just leave you for the new shiny thing in a second. You're just being used like a pacifier, they use you to boost their own egos then leave you then return when it doesn't work out with the actual person they want to be with. Its low key abusive in my opinion and just a shitty thing to do to someone.
