Gamedev log starter!
🕑 Added 2022-09-19 13:28:02 +0000 UTCTime to put that "gamedev stuff access" Tier to good use...
As I mentioned many times before - I am from gamedev and doing own project, based on the "Wretched Sun" lore. That lore-relates serious stuff you can find in my galleries and here as well, simply searching "Yaraga" or "Wretched Sun".
And from now on I will be posting regular updates when we do something, because we finished the very basic setup needed to demonstrate anything - and now moved to animation stuff!
Team assembled, after a LOT of troubles and bad choices, scene set up, technical directions decided, pipeline prepared - and we are gluing things together now)
Now, what to expect:
- Animations sequences and loops.
- Scene screenshots.
- Music and OST samples.
- Soon-to-be-started uploads for playable builds (that we will be updating step by step and you will be able to .exe it and try things by yourself directly)
- Concept art pieces that I won't publish anywhere.
All this stuff (and whatever else I might be able to come up with) is and will be available for related Tiers. I won't upload any builds anywhere unless it's done and ready for publishing as a promo. Which will take time.
And your supports is pretty much the thing we work for - to give audience good stuff) It's not just money, it's art.
A quick sum-up of where are we now and what goes where:
- UE4 engine (4.27.2)
- Action-RPG (refer to something akin to "God of War", where Kratos has a nordic beard)
- Semi-stylised
- Narrative-driven.
- Current goal is a demo polygon, fully-polished to demonstrate graphics, sound and gameplay dynamics. Aka "have a scene, have your shadow to pommel, have lore to read".
- We ARE happy to talk and hire possible skilled people, so do not be afraid to ask!
- Done: scene, model, rig, textures, bones, game mechanics, controls, narrative, basic motion animations, first combat animations.
- Project is unrelated to any political or social limitations or sanctions. Whoever and wherever you are - we do not care, we do art. Art has no bonds.
We hope to bring you something worth of your time and passion. For it is passion that drives colours of life worth living)
