Yes it works for Spellcaster from rank 3 up. If you're using the bookcases file from security lock I added a patch on that mod to make the two work together otherwise that one prevents the interactions from this one from showing up.

I feel dumb in that this doesn't seem to be working for me anymore and it used to a long time ago. Yes I am using the updated files, and I checked for conflicts but it just isn't working. Is it supposed to not work for all spellcasters?

I don't think there ever were pet training skill books... which makes sense really.

It's a wonderful mod (and something I've been waiting for since the release of ROM), but there seems to be a problem: when I try to read a skillbook using magic, the skill level doesn't go up...

It works only directly on books and not from the bookcase. I already added the interaction to bookcase too but didn't have time to test it. I'll upload an update as soon as I'm done

Unfortunately it doesnt seem to be working for me. I downloaded the xml from the comments but that hasnt done it. My Spellcaster rank is maxed as well.
