In the Sims 4 males and females have a different looping animation for the passive standing:
It's much more noticeable in game than in screenshots, especially if you want a masculine female or a feminine male, they keep standing with the standard animation unless you change gender in CAS.
This mod allows you to change the standing animation of a Sim (Teen to Adult, Elders are a different question, see below) by clicking on the Sim and selecting "Change Standing Animation":

Changing the standing idle will also change the sitting idle, it will probably not work in every situation:
Elders
Elders don't have a gendered standing animation but they have that annoying idle where they look around that you can now turn off:

hey i founda problem, i have the xml injector so that isnt the problem, but the option to change the idle when clicking on the selected sim does not appear to me, any idea what could it be?

No problem! I have wanted a mod like this for a long time. I always wanted to create feminine guys in my game but the whole gender based standing\sitting idle animation always felt out of character for them. So Iām really glad you made this mod! Keep up the good work š

I noticed that when you change the Standing Idle and then go to CAS or reaload live mode in any way the Standing Idle resets back to the sim's default gender. was that intentional?

You know... I never noticed if the sitting animation was different but I'll keep an eye on it from now on, if it is possible to do the same I'll add it into this mod

ive wanted this but for sitting, the female sitting is a little too composed, what if you want a badass woman?, it would be a more elegant badass but a masculine sitting adds to the inmersion!

Yes, nothing actually changed in the files I just decided to change it while checking it... you can still use the old one
