It's certainly possible. There's also some key techniques you can use to narrow things down. Like, do the CMC's have their marks, does Twilight have wings, castle or library, etc. Also, since it gave you Princess Twilight Sparkle 3 times and you missed all of them, a rewatch of that one might be in order for you hehe

And I just did another 20 and got 16/20. Like I said, any given 20 will definitely vary in difficulty

I got 10/20. Made some silly errors too though. There is a bit of luck involved in this though for sure
