Important: Plans for My Little Pony after Season 8

Below will be the suggested watch order that we will be going through. If there is any issue you have or suggestions to this order then please let me know down below or on the discord server!

Schedule
- With the massive amount of EQG content, we can’t do the usual starting the next season in the beginning of the month. So Season 9 will bleed into December but rest assured we will finish MLP G4 before 2024 ends!
Thank you to everyone who has been apart of this journey. I get a little sad when I think and say our time is almost done but it seems time flies when we are having fun. But for now, let’s enjoy the rest of what MLP has to offer! Much love 💙🦄

No I meant that pony life would be good BEFORE we potentially get to G5. So it would be good for the “break” after G4

A poll sounds like a good idea. After wrapping up G4/G4.5, and if there's interest, we should have a brief discussion on G5 (Tell Your Tale / Make Your Mark). It could be worth watching, but it might also undermine a few things, which I think we should address beforehand. Personally, I don't need it, but if you'd like to go ahead, feel free! 😅

I definitely can include these if you guys really want it! But if you say it’s more side quest or repetitive then maybe it would prolong and make the journey longer. I did see it on the side bar on YouTube so I was going to ask about it but after your explanation, maybe it’s not the most required. Maybe I should ask patreon in a poll? And a lot is on the table for after G4. If we do G5 we wouldn’t start it until the very beginning of 2025 (5 and 2025 fits perfectly 😂). So I wouldn’t mind doing pony life after we finish G4! And I love stop motion but the non dialogue is interesting. So maybe his can be mentioned again later on!

Ah, and if he wants to watch "Baby Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook", he should do that before the funny shorts directly after Season 8.

You're right about "Baby Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook". I originally included it as an optional point, but after rewatching it, I realized it focuses too much on reviewing earlier episodes and seasons. Given that "FUNdamentals of Magic with Celestia!" covers similar ground with a much more engaging concept, and "Friendship Is Forever (Memories Miniseries)" is also a reflection but is the better closure, I felt it might be too repetitive. Overall, it just doesn't add enough value to revisit the same material repeatedly. - Well it's another matter if he still wants to watch it... 😅 Pony Life can be thought of as more of a G4.5 series. It features the same characters but in a different setting, and the stories are largely unrelated to the original series. The animation style is also much simpler. The episodes are shorter, averaging around 11 minutes each, with a total of 40 episodes. I would recommend treating it as a separate series to watch sometime after Generation 4, if Ed approves. Before that, there's another series of animated shorts called My Little Pony: Pony Life Stop Motion Shorts. These shorts have a different animation style - I believe it's called claymation? - and they don't include any dialogue. They're not directly connected to the Generation 4 storyline and consist of 22 videos, each around 2 minutes long. These can be watched before Pony Life, also only if Ed is interested.

That order is perfect! that’s pretty much all the g4 content unless you count fan content which you said you don’t really like doing much of, oh and there’s this short compilation called baby flurry hearts heartfelt scrapbook something else you can watch after season 9 if you want also there’s a spin off called pony life it only has 2 seasons and after that it ends the g4 mlp fim stuff which g5 starts. Sad to see g4 mlp ending this journey has been so much fun I can’t believe we are already on season 9, just seems like yesterday you started mlp reactions :( I’ve enjoyed all your reactions even on episodes you didn’t enjoy lol
