When I first watched SU I originally skipped this episode, but honestly I think the silly meta in it is a lot of fun. Itโs an episode thatโs better on re-watch tbh. Also, if I remember correctly, I think Rebecca Sugar herself specifically wanted to have an UG crossover because she thought the limitless possibility of cartoon logic would be fun to explore for an episode of Steven. Also, a lot of unintentional foreshadowing in this episode lol.
