🕑 Added 2021-07-08 14:31:58 +0000 UTCSo sorry for the delay with this page, I had a lot of things coming up but didn't want to bother you all with them. I had troubles at both work and home, as we missed some of our deadlines and my family came up with plans to move, and I was asked to do a lot of planning and searching for an affordable rent.
Still, thank you for your encouraging and kind words on the last page, it really made me look forward to get all that trouble behind me and get back into drawing!
Actually this page has some interesting story behind it, I thought it up waaay back when I wanted to give Nick's and Judy's little neck-bite in the movie a little bit more meaning, making it something special only serious partners do with each other in Zootopia!
I wanted to use some interesting zootopian terminology to signify how important Judy is for Nick, I currently settled on "beloved one" bot I also wanted something more zootopia, one of my friend suggested "paired one" because animals that make families together usually referred as a "pair". But since I'm not a native english speaker I wasn't sure how that would roll off the tongue. Let me know what you think!
I will still think about it before finishing the page, but I hope I'll be able to finish it this weekend. Also hopefully the whole moving thing will be done next week, and once that is done, I'll be able to work on a calmer enviroment! Hope to see you soon!

Thanks InTheLionsDen! Yeah and the fact the moving part wasn't even the most stressful, t was the search for a place that I can afford. I'm still not sure that the place I'm moving to will work on the long run, but it was an emergency to get somewhere right now so... But thanks, glad I still could provide some art at some level, I feel like I'm way behind schedule, but I'm thankful for everyone's patience and trust in me ^///^

Ohh, "life-mate" that's a good one too! I didn't want to use "mate" as that could be argued is more just a zootopian word for sexual-partners rather than romantic ones, but "life-mate" does have a nice ring to it, I'll keep that in mind and see which version is better before the finishing the page. Thanks Fen!

Aw heck, first paw appreciation, now pred-prey talk and love-bites? So super hot and fun! It just fits them so perfectly! You’re really ramping up the action, I love it! As for terminology: Most of the more lore friendly Zoot fanworks I read used the term ‘mate’ for romantic couples. Sometimes, especially for foxes ‘life-mate’. As the saying goes ‘foxes mate for life’. I wish you the least amount of stress possible for the move! ;D

Nice touch on bringing back and highlighting the bite in another totally valid way. Great dialogue as Nick once again accurately understands her feelings and accomplishments and playfully teases her with it. I think beloved one is a perfectly acceptable term of endearment. Also, referring to two as a pair is just a shortened version of what is assumed to be a mated pair or bonded pair so any alternative of it would probably work. Just another variation of the same thing. Moving is so time consuming and disruptive I am surprised you manged to get this well thought out sketch done. There are probably a huge number of things still to do with the move but I am glad to hear that there is some sign of things returning to a more normal and organized state in the near future.
