Chapter gone poof
🕑 Added 2024-12-26 22:19:56 +0000 UTCI may have done what those in the business call a "goof." The chapter which was supposed to be released today is...gone. I, as the fool I am, wrote the draft on my phone (since I've been on the road) without triple-checking that my phone actually managed to update to the server of the editor I use. Only when I went edit and release it on my computer did I realise the horror of what had occurred.
It honestly is a real pain. First time I make this particular mistake. I unfortunately did not have time to re-write the entire chapter before the day was over, so I'll instead have to leave you folks with an apology and a promise that the chapter will be out as early as possible tomorrow. After I've painstakingly retyped every single word exactly the way it was originally. Because I will accept nothing less.
Hope you have a good day/evening/night.

Why you won’t take your time? Even if you release it later or on Sunday with the other one we will be happy anyway. But thank you for the notice. It’s nice to know what’s happening.

Hippyty hoppyty, your chapter is now my property.

Just tell us it's the same as the first draft, we won't know any different!

To err is human but sometimes machines imitate their creators splendidly! It's okay regardless, life happens and all that. Take care and hope you are having an otherwise great holiday and impending new year!

This was clearly the work of the Anomalous One messing with your phone :-) More realistically, a Christmas Goblin was unsettled that the publishing of the story goes too smoothly. No worries; sooner or later it will work out.

I have done this before, and I feel your pain. It comes out when it comes out, thanks for the update!

Ooh, yikes, that's rough. I have a hard enough time convincing myself to write in the first place, so I couldn't imagine if I lost my work. No worries on the delay, though. You're still far more punctual than quite a few others I read from!
