Snap POLL for the Next Watercolor Warrior!
🕑 Added 2024-10-11 13:08:32 +0000 UTCI need your help choosing which character to paint for this month's watercolor warrior! "Warrior" may actually be too strong a term for most of these figures. Theme-wise, these are all characters you might meet if you were running a booth at a market for Dark Wizards. Some need curses broken, some need medicine, some need rare pet food, and all have come to your booth for help! Who fits that idea the best? Which would you most want to see finished in color?
Note: I need to get started on this YESTERDAY, so this is a very quick poll! It is only going to be running through the weekend. Vote for as many as you like, but whichever one has the most votes overall by Monday will be the winner. Good luck to our contestants!

Haha thanks! And yes, the series is definitely taking a LOT of inspiration from convention personalities! :)

I absolutely love the Dragon Tamer, but I feel like the Firemander Mage looks to have the most interesting backstory. I can't quite make out the Mage's upper lip in the pic, but I think a little Errol Flynn moustache on the mage would hint at some Dick Dastardly-Baron Otto Matic-Gargamel type of comic relief. As always, Justin, the entire presentation just makes one want to jump into this world as a whole! (Hmmm... influenced by Convention personalites???)

The poll ended with the Dragon Tamer in the top spot and the Headless Horseman coming in a close second! Hopefully I can get both in this month!

Awesome spread. I wanna say headless horseman, because it is spooky season, but the worried werewolf stands out as different expression/body language.

Uuuu I like it!! Simple farmer cursed by a vampire. He is here because all his pigs turned into HAMPIRES!!! And he need a cure or something!

The worried werewolf looks like he needs the most help!

I like your take on #5! Truthfully I am still quite torn on that one. Do I make him a simple farmer, cursed by some witch, or a vampire hunter? I'm still not sure! But if I do go with the vampire hunter direction I plan to change the rake to a blunderbuss (or maybe a shovel.) I

I love the number 1. He is like: I just killed a dragon mother and now this little dude here thinks I am his mother. Please, give me something to get rid of him! I also love the number 5. Before reading the titles in the poll I was thinking he was a farmer and needed something to grow bigger pumpkin to win the local biggest pumpkin contest!
