[The Stormlands]
"Don't relent!!" a Knight shouted as he ran forwards, "Push them back!!"
Along with several other Knights, he clashed against a shield wall that consisted of dozens of House Targaryen soldiers. They bounced off and began to clash again, avoiding the spears and blades. Around them, there was a fierce clash between both sides, steel clashing as the blades cut through flesh.
There was nothing but the sounds of battle cries as arrows flew over their heads, striking each side with tremendous fury. Every time they clashed, men fell, cut down by the second with no chance of surviving another second.
It was a gruesome sight, something that none of these men wanted to witness again since the Essosi invasion, but they had no choice but to fight. One side did not want to hand their lands over to the Trinity while the other did not want to betray their King.
While they clashed, several Baratheon riders circled around the battlefield, holding their lances as they made their way around the front of the Targaryen forces. They then reached the flank and skewered the men, running them down with such ferocity that blood and guts flew into the air, raining down onto the ground.
A Targaryen soldier saw this, "They're taking our flank!" He said, "Fall back!! They'll take us out!!"
The riders cut ran through the forces, splitting them apart and separating the front and back completely as the Baratheon soldiers picked them off one by one. As the rear backed away to compose themselves, they were caught by a rain of arrows which skewered many of them and caused them collapse to the ground.
"Agh!" a soldier shouted as he was hit in the shoulder, "Gods...."
They were then swarmed by more Baratheon Knights, cutting them down by the second as the riders circled around the battlefield once more. The fierce clash was a gruesome one, sweeping through the remaining forces.
Off into the distance, there was a group of 50 archers that began to fire arrows at them, disregarding their comrades as they believed they were lost causes. The arrows flew right at the Baratheon soldiers, piercing them as well as many of them raised their shields to protect themselves.
The Cavalry saw this and began to make their way towards them, the stampeding horses shooting straight for the archers, who saw this.
"Half of you focus on the riders!" the Lead Archer bellowed, "The rest keep going on the others!!"
They followed the command, half of them aimed for the riders and fired arrows right at them, hitting several of the horses and bringingd them to the ground. Despite this, however, the riders still persisted and made their way towards them.
"Shit....!" the Lead Archer said, "This is not good.....Keep firing! Don't stop!!"
As they fired more and more arrows, the Cavalry got closer, around two or three riders getting hit per round of arrows yet they persisted.
"Don't relent!!!" the Archer said, "Fire!!!"
Suddenly, a shadow fell over the battlefield, and in a split second, the incoming cavalry was engulfed in flames. nothing but screams of agony and pain were heard as the burning horses whined in horror.
The Targaryen forces watched in shock as the entire area was covered in flames, and then they looked up to see red wings above them and heard the nasal roar of Caraxes.
"Prince Aemon!" an Archer exclaimed
They watched as Caraxes swooped over to the field, firing a stream of flames at the Baratheon soldiers. Cheers began to fill the air as the Baratheon forces were immediately scattering, not expecting the presence of a dragon.
Aemon sat atop Caraxes, looking down at the enemy as they retreated. He noticed that the Targaryen forces had dwindled down to nearly nothing, completely overwhelmed by the opposition.
"Tch...." He said, "This is not good....I have to take command.....and converge our forces together....."
The Baratheon forces were fully retreating, knowing that they were not going to do much against a dragon in an open field, preferring to take their chances by scattering.
Caraxes let out a roar as Aemon steered him down, going for a landing in front of his surviving men.
"This is going to be a long day...." Aemon said as he landed his dragon,
"I can already tell...."

"Any word on my brother Vaegon?" Aemon asked Lord Darklyn, "Where is he?"
Lord Darklyn sighed, "I am sorry, My Prince." He said as he looked down, "We have no idea. We've questioned the surviving Selmy Knights from the Fort we took but none of them said anything. I believe we have to personally ask the traitor, Barth...."
They were in a tent on a camp that they had set up, most of the Targaryen forces that were in the Stormlands had converged together, and Aemon had decided to take command of it. He was told that Baelon was patrolling the border of the Crownlands while Alyssa was scouting the Reach from high above.
He was awaiting any sort of intel from them so they could make a move. He had not received any orders from his Father, which only left him more frustrated.
Aemon clenched his fist, "Curses.." He said, "That cannot be.....where could they be keeping him?! We have to go to their seats and set them under siege!!"
"The foolish thing to do is to keep him there." Lord Darklyn said, "They must be holding him elsewhere."
"I know..." Aemon said as he looked down
"The best way to stop the conflict here in the Stormlands and prevent any further damage to House Baratheon is to take Storm's End." Lord Darklyn said, "I do not need to remind you, My Prince, that The Targaryens and The Baratheons are kin. Orys Baratheon was the Conqueror's brother and your Mother was the late lord's Mother. Not only that-"
"I know." Aemon cut him off, "And I agree. We need to make Orryn surrender. That is the only way we can stop this."
"Of course, he would need to pay with his life." Lord Darklyn said, "Treason cannot be tolerated."
Aemon sighed, "I know that."
A knight walked inside the Tent, "My Prince!" He said, "We've received word from our scouts and from the Princess Alyssa herself! The Reach Army have entered the Stormlands and judging from their route, they will converge with the Stormlands main army!"
"Just what we need." Aemon said with a scowl
"How many?" Lord Darklyn asked
"Around 10,000 strong. But there are the Hightowers and other Houses that are catching up." the Knight said, "Within a couple of days, they will reach them."
"Firstly, we need to keep the Tyrells from reaching the Baratheons." Aemon said as he pointed at the map, "I will push the Baratheon army a bit further towards Storm's End, and I will speak to Orryn as I do this. A bit of flames might persuade them....."
"If we can get Balerion over the border, we can force them all to retreat fully." Lord Darklyn said, "But it is too risky, the Storm Beast might awaken, and all of us will be caught up in a bad tempest."
"What we could do is let the Tyrells get closer and flank them from behind." Aemon said, "If we can get word to my sister, using Meleys to hit their rear in hit and run tactics while our army pincer them...."
"That is a good tactic." Lord Darklyn said, "I will try to get word out right away."
Aemon nodded, "Yes." He said, "Do that."
"We need to end this as quickly as possible."
