[Stormlands]
Lord Selmy was atop a fort's ramparts as they were under siege; an entire army led by Lord Darklyn was outside their walls. Arrows flew all around them, striking the stone structure. It had been several hours since this started; Selmy was ordered by Orryn Baratheon, Boremund's uncle, to take a fort to act as a base of operations.
But out of nowhere, an army of 6,000 men had appeared and laid the entire fort under siege, killing those who were caught outside. Lord Selmy was merely staring at this unfold, trying to figure out a way to break the siege and counterattack in time for the other armies to converge.
"Lord Selmy!" a soldier shouted, "We have received word from Orryn!"
"What did he say?" He asked, "That old stag...."
"He will take his men to intercept another force of 2,000 that are currently marching through the Kingswood." the soldier said, "We are to hold our position until the Tyrells arrive with their Reach Army."
Selmy frowned, "Hm." he said, "Interesting."
"What do we do now?" the soldier asked
"We hold our ground, for now." Selmy asked, "There is no way they can break through without serious firepower. That being said, send word to our surrounding forces, scattered in the area. Tell them to destroy the Storm Shrines. Any which they see."
"Yes, My Lord!" he said
Lord Selmy then looked over to the forces that were outside the walls, dozens of arrows were flying throughout as archers were persistently shooting at them.
"Nothing but waste of resources." He said as he walked away, "What could have happened that House Targaryen sent me a letter, warning me of my death?"
As he walked down the wooden stairs that led down to the bottom, he heard the loud flapping of wings above them, followed by a loud nasal roar.
"Dragon!!!" a guard shouted
He froze, "Hells...." He said as he looked up, "Already?!"
Up in the sky, the figure of Caraxes was seen, soaring in the sky as several men shouted in response.
Lord Selmy clenched his fists, "Man the Scorpions!" He shouted, "Aim up and take that beast down!!"
"My Lord!" a soldier shouted, "We only have one deployed, the rest have not been able to be deployed yet!!!"
"For fuck's sake!" He shouted, "Aim that one at it then! Now!!!"
As the soldiers began to scatter towards a tower, where a Scorpion was mounted, Caraxes swooped down with blinding speed as Prince Aemon Targaryen sat atop him, holding onto the reigns.
"Dracarys"
Caraxes opened his maw and unleashed a thin and potent stream of flames right at the shut gate of the fort, causing an explosion of flames that sent several soldiers flying. As the explosion subsided and Caraxes flew right back into the sky, several Stormlanders were seen caught in flames, running around as they shouted in pain.
Lord Selmy ran back up to the ramparts, "Shoot the dragon down!!!"
He looked over to the tower the Scorpion was mounted on, seeing as his men were barely turning it to aim at the dragon.
He then watched as they fired off the bolt, shooting right at Caraxes as he flew in the sky.
Aemon saw this and steered Caraxes to spin, dodging the Scorpion bolt completely. He then watched as it flew towards the distance, slowly losing velocity and eventually falling down to the ground.
Caraxes then circled around and went for another sweep, opening his maw and unleashing another stream of flames aimed at the tower, catching the Scorpion ablaze and killing the men that were manning it.
"Curses!" Lord Selmy exclaimed, "That fucking Aemon!"
As soon as the gate was destroyed, the Darklyn forces immediately swarmed towards it, pushing through and breaking into the Fort. And with the second sweep from Caraxes, most of the Selmy forces were taken aback by the sudden push.
Dozens of soldiers entered by the second, cutting down surprised Selmy soldiers as battle cries filled the air, and the clash of steel was very prominent. Lord Selmy merely watched as the fort's courtyard was completely overrun by soldiers as the roar of Caraxes was heard in the background.
"Seven Hells..." He said as he drew his sword, "Fight back!! We hold this fort until our last breaths!!!!"
As he said this, he heard the loud flapping of Caraxes's wings and suddenly, the dragon appeared before him, landing hard on the rampart as he snarled viciously.
"Fuck!" Lord Selmy said as Caraxes glared at him
Atop the dragon, Aemon sat on his saddle, a serious look on his face.
"You will be given one chance only." Aemon said seriously, "Where is Vaegon?"
Lord Selmy frowned, "Vaegon?" He said, "How should I know?"
"You have him. Do not lie to me." Aemon said, "Or is it Orryn who has him? That old fuck."
"We have not touched any of you white-haired cunts." Lord Selmy said seriously, "Do you understand me? The only reason we do this is to break free of the Trinity's stupid clutches. My land was overrun by their vile religion, idiotic shrines spread all over the Stormlands! It is an abomination."
"Whether or not I agree with you, it does not matter." Aemon said, "It stopped mattering when you took Vaegon and sent us his severed hand!"
"What?!" Lord Selmy exclaimed, "What are you talking about?! We did no such thing!!"
"You lie, even in the face of death?" Aemon leaned forward, "I did not take you to be this cowardly. Be truthful to yourself, you will die regardless."
"I am saying the truth." He said, "We did no such thing. Vaegon, we have not seen him in a long time. At least, I have not!! Why would we touch him?!"
"To start this." Aemon said as he leaned back and glared at him, "You foolish bastards...."
Lord Selmy said, "Don't you see?" He asked, "This is all part of that Drakken's plan!! He intends to turn you all against the Faith!"
"Enough." Aemon said seriously, "I have had enough of this. All of you will learn to fear House Targaryen again."
"Dracarys"
